Conrady Consultant Services And Utility Service Company Have Joined Forces

To Bring You The Very Best In Water Tank Inspection Services

The owners of Conrady Consultant Services personally inspected more than 3,000 tanks from 1982 to 2008.  Since 2004 the company has specialized in ROV tank inspections.   In February of 2008, Conrady Consultant Services was acquired by Utility Service Company whereby John and Linda Conrady will set up, train, and manage an ROV inspection division of Utility Service Company.

When you contract for our ROV inspection, you receive our Base Inspection Report described below, a  DVD which contains narrated video of the tank interior from the ROV video feed, and a CD which contains digital exterior photos and digital interior photos which were captured from the ROV video feed.  You can also select to receive our optional Comprehensive Inspection Report which is also described below.

Our Base Inspection Report:

Our base report contains all of the components required by DEP, DER, and DNR and the various other health or regulatory agencies throughout the US and consists of computer generated fill in pages including a title page, a declaration page which is signed by our inspector, a page of tank information as could be determined during the inspection or as was stated to us by the client such as year installed or dimensions, one or more pages of site observations which describe or identify the structural, sanitary, and coating condition of the tank exterior and interior, and one or more pages of recommendations which include the time period for reinspection or recoating and other recommended corrective actions which are bound and delivered to the client at the conclusion of the inspection. The advantage of the computer generated fill in page report is that you have the inspection report immediately and you are not waiting for 2 or more weeks to receive it.

Our Comprehensive Inspection Report

If you select our comprehensive inspection report instead of the computer generated fill in pages report you will receive what we believe to be the most comprehensive and thorough inspection report available.  Our comprehensive report not only contains all of the components required by DEP, DER, and DNR and the various other health or regulatory agencies throughout the US as are included in our base report, but it also intimately details the condition, structural integrity, corrosion, deterioration, coating failure, coating bubbling, and details the configuration of each appurtenance of the tank interior and tank exterior.

Our comprehensive report includes a title page, a table of contents, a page of tank information as could be determined during the inspection or as was stated to us by the client such as year installed or dimensions, a declaration page which is signed by our inspector, summary pages that concisely state the conclusions and recommendations of the remainder of the report, several pages of interior recommended corrective actions such as reinspect or recoat,  several pages of exterior recommended corrective actions such as reinspect or overcoat or completely remove the existing coating, several pages which describe the condition of the tank exterior and appurtenances such as ladders, anchor bolts, concrete base deterioration, base seal, protective coating, etc., several pages which describe the condition of the tank interior and appurtenances such as interior ladder, bottom, depression of bottom plates, interior columns, pipes, roof interior, protective coating, etc.

The disadvantage of the comprehensive report is that you can not have the inspection report immediately and you usually must wait to receive it.

Our comprehensive report can be 100 or more pages.

Our comprehensive report has separate recommendations for the tank interior and exterior and range from inspect again in 5 years to recoat as soon as the funds can be made available. Our comprehensive report details the condition of appurtenances and structural members including amount of paint failure and corrosion and amount of bubbling as well as structural integrity and concrete deterioration.
